The “Cymdicator Smart Temperature Control Label” can effectively monitor the cold chain quality of storage, transportation, and sales processes in the supply chain, record the exposure situation of temperature values exceeding the specified value, accurately record and visually interpret it. Through the full-time recording of exposure time, it can also be monitored and managed during intermediate transfer and warehousing, and its irreversible characteristics make it easy to read the problem points in the transportation process, improving the overall cold chain transportation system. From packaging, sales, food retail industry to the consumer stage, it plays a necessary role in maintaining food safety, effectively reducing food waste, and innovatively exerting sustainable influence through product design.
In this project, we helped tell a good story for the technology, explored the application fields of the technology, defined the usage process, designed the technical display form, assisted in participating in international design competitions, and won the 2023 German iF Design Award, giving the technology a chance to be seen internationally.
